For us, pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period are natural life processes – exciting and very individual. We create a setting in which people with child-bearing potential and their growing families are strengthened in their own power and accompanied and supported according to their needs and wishes. And we do this from the very beginning of the pregnancy.
We provide advice on the upcoming birth and all recommended examinations during pregnancy as well as carry out all preventive services independently, with the exception of ultrasound examinations.
Our birth centre provides a familiar place where you can feel safe and secure. We midwives attend births with passion, the necessary expertise and evidence-based practice.
We support you in your experiences as parents and advise you on breastfeeding, nutrition, postnatal recovery, baby care and much more.
Any pregnant person can contact a midwife directly, without the need for a doctor’s referral. Midwife assistance is regulated by law and the regular costs are covered by health insurance until the end of the breastfeeding period or the ninth month of life.
Everyone can take advantage of our services, regardless of whether the birth is planned in a birth centre, at home or in a hospital.
Fewer children are currently being born in Berlin. This means that it is still possible to plan a birth with us even late in pregnancy.
Our classes are also open to anyone not giving birth in our birth centre.
